Iditarod The Greatest Win Ever
Teaching project requirements:
You and your group will present your assigned chapter to the class in the next two days. Each group will be given 35 minutes and be responsible for the following:
Hold a 7-minute question/answer/discussion on your assigned chapter. The majority of questions should be posed at higher levels of thinking. *You must create a document and answer key for this. This is not something you hand out to students, but your guide for discussion.

Involve “students” in 20 minutes worth of organized activities (the ones you prepared) and give feedback in the form of checking answers and going over the activity as a group. You will have to choose from the list of activities you created to make this fit the time limit.
Administer
a 20-question quiz on your assigned chapter at the end of presentation lesson and have the quiz graded by the following day. *You must create a document and answer key for this. The quiz must be a combination of multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, and true/false. No more than 5 TF questions, please.
As a presenter…You will be given a two daily grades on:
1. (subjective) Preparation for and ease of conducting 35-minute lesson period. Did things go smoothly? Were you prepared? Organized? Were ALL group members involved? Materials printed and available? Knowledgeable on chapter and able to answer questions?
2. Overall group activity package: were the activities appropriate? Well designed? Free of errors/mistakes? Neat? Quality/level of questions from Q/A session. Must be typed and turned in to teacher with answer key.

As a student…You will be given two grades:
A grade average of the 4 chapter tests given as a
MAJOR test grade
participation
daily grade for appropriate behavior during student presentations
